Trust me when I say this, if it were upto me, I'd eat chocolate EVERYDAY for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but let's be honest, it wouldn't be healthy

If you are like me and we have a similar school of thought, trust me you would wanna try this. These are gooey, healthy, and did I mention extremely chocolatey?

What if I told you they were only 88 calories each piece? You wouldn't believe me would you? But you gotta. I've now been having them for breakfast almost everyday now for 4 weeks straight. And i'm not kidding. These are low-key really delicious!!

Never have I ever been a fan of cooked oats or over-night oats or any type of oats. But wait for it. I'm a big fan of baked oats. Especially something with chocolate. Hmmmm!! Yummmm!!

For 1 loaf or 8 bars
INGREDIENTS
1 cup Quick oats*
1/4 cup Sugar**
1t Baking powder
2T Cocoa powder
3/4 cup Milk***
1 small egg
1t Vanilla extract
1/4 cup Chocolate chips (optional, but essential)
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F, and line your baking dish with parchment, I used a 13x4 bread pan, but feel free to use any.
2. In a bowl add oats, cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder and mix well.
3. Then add in your milk, to the bowl and let the mixture soak in milk for about 5 min, then add in your egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
4. Finally add in your chocolate chips and mix well.
5. Add the mixture to your baking dish and bake the batter for 35mins.
6. Take it out of the oven and let it cool for 10mins. Take it out of your pans and finish cooling on a wire rack.

NOTES
* You can use gluten free oats if necessary, you can even sub for oat flour
**Add upto 1/2 cup of sugar if you eat sweeter
*** Any type of milk can be used
