Healthy Flourless Brownies

Learn how to make these flourless brownies that are gluten free, super healthy and have NO weird ingredients! These rich, dark, chocolate brownies are so easy to make but they’re a truly decadent dessert.

With a crackly top and a peanut butter swirl and a chewy yet melt-in your mouth texture these brownies are to die for! You won't even recognize any difference between these are normal brownies... Also they are secretly very healthy

You can sub the peanut butter for any nut or seed butter. You can sub the eggs for 2 flax/chia eggs too!! Add in any mix-ins nuts or chocolate or anything!!!


Yield: 16 pieces


Ingredients:

1 cup (240g) Smooth peanut butter (or any nut/seed butter)

2 eggs, room temperature

1t Vanilla extract

1/2 cup Raw sugar (or brown sugar or white sugar)

2T Honey (or maple syrup or agave)

1/2 cup (50g) Cocoa powder

1/4t Salt

1t Baking powder

1/2 cup (75g) Chopped chocolate

Optional: 2T peanut butter, melted


Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C (350 F). Grease and line an 8-inch square baking tin.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the peanut butter, eggs, honey, sugar and vanilla extract with an electric mixer until well combined. Sift in cocoa powder, salt and baking powder. Gently fold until batter starts to come together.

  3. Add the chocolate and fold through. Place all the batter into your prepared tin and press down and spread out as even as possible.

  4. Dollop small spoonfuls of the peanut butter evenly over the batter, then swirl with a toothpick until desired pattern is reached.

  5. Bake brownies for 23-25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with just a few crumbs attached.

  6. Let brownies cool for a few minutes, then transfer to the fridge to cool completely in the pan. Store in the fridge for maximum fudginess!
